Rules Manager provides an efficient solution to applying conditional formatting to data-based controls. It helps the users to quickly enhance visualization of data and identification of patterns by applying rule-based formatting similar to that of Excel. Rules Manager mainly comprises of C1RulesManager and C1RulesEngine. The C1RulesEngine component will compute the style for each item from the declared rules while C1RulesManager component provides UI elements for addition, removal and edition of the rules at runtime.
Rules Manager can be easily integrated with ComponentOne controls such as Flexgrid and Listview providing support for dynamic formatting based on cell values and custom expressions. Users can apply formatting styles like backcolor, forecolor, fonts, text alignment data bars and icon set to visually track the data trends and conditions.
