  We have an application, that displays a list of *.rdlx reports (stored in a database). For each report we’d like to display a preview thumnail (so the user can see what the report looks like). How can I achieve this? We use AR 17
  
  Basically I need to create or get an image byte that represents a preview of the report.

  Hi Travis,

  You can export the reports to image and then you can use it to show thumbnails. For reference, I have created a simplified sample and attached it along with.

  Yes, this seems to be the only way you can get images from a report file.
