I have 3 groups of data, I use switch case for each row like row A should shows on group 1 and should be hidden on group 2 or group 3 and I have accomplished that.

Later on, I have to make another 2 rows (row B, row C) that have visibility expression just like row A so I insert rows above row A and apply the same expression, somehow it just doesn’t work and I’m sure that all settings of both rows are the same as row A, Help needed!hidden_rows_leave_blank.ziphidden_rows_leave_blank.zip

    Hello Watsharapat,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Based on your explanation, it looks like you’re working with a Tablix control and are trying to conditionally show specific rows based on the group using visibility expressions.

After reviewing this behavior, we found that the key is to apply the visibility expression on the static rows located under the “Row Groups” pane, rather than on newly inserted row textboxes directly. This avoids adding physical extra rows, which could otherwise leave blank space when hidden.

Please refer to the attached image which demonstrates how to apply the visibility expression correctly on the static row cells:

If you’re still encountering issues, please share a minimal sample that reproduces the problem, and we’ll help you resolve it further.

For your reference, we’ve also attached a demo report to illustrate the overall approach.

    Thanks,

    Prabhat Sharma.
