  To get familiar with the ActiveReports designer, you may refer to Standalone Designer.
  
  To learn about design reports using ActiveReports Designer, in our documentation here Design Reports.
  
  To learn about report types, you may refer to Report Types.
  
  To learn about report controls, you may refer to Report Controls.

  However, if you want to learn about integrating the designer in your application, you may refer to Create Designer and Viewer Applications.
