Hello, I’ve notice a weird behavior regarding picture placement when converting a report to RTF using Active Reports 11.3.

When we have a template with 3 or more pictures right next to each other and we convert the report to RTF the pictures in output RTF have huge spaces between them instead of being right next to each other. Using “enable shapes” fixes that, but then the textboxes are displayed incorrectly.

Is there any way to convert the report to RTF so it looks just like on preview? The conversion was done using AR 11.3 Designer’s Export command. I attached a zip file with report template, generated RTFs and pictures.

    Hello Adrian,

It is by design. When you set “EnableShapes” set to true then it will only compatible with MS Word not with WordPad.

    Thanks,

    Thank you for your response.

Is there however any way to produce proper result (with images close to each other instead of scattered around the page) using EnableShapes = false ?

    Hello,

Please add the little bit space between the “Picture” controls. Please refer the modified report and exported rtf file.

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks,

    Mohit
