  Seasons’ Greetings,
  
  I have to clean reinstall of windows on my machine to fix a driver issue.
  
  Should I deactivate my AR 9 and AR 12 first? Do I need to uninstall also?

  Hello,

  Yes, you need to deactivate the license before installing the new windows.
  
  No, you don’t need to uninstall them if you are installing new window.

  Thanks for the quick reply Mohit. The internet/network drivers are not working can I deactivate without internet?

  Hello Brian,

  You need to use another machine which has internet connectivity to deactivate the license on your machine. Please follow the same steps to deactivate the as mentioned in the topic 'To license ActiveReports on a machine without an internet connection" in the following link:

  The link only seems to refer to Activation without internet. Deactivation does not have anything about without internet. I don’t want to actually start the process without being sure.

  On the Confim the Product screen it does not have any Authentication Number displayed. I don’t recall what it was when I activated, I only have the product key
  
  When you go to https://sas.grapecity.com/activation it wants an Authentication Number.
  
  Is there by chance a different site for deactivation? No mention of one in the documentation.

  Hello,

  Sorry for the confusion.

  Here are the detail Steps:
  
  1: Open the license manager
  
  2: Click on Deactivate Link
  
  3: Click on Next Button
  
  4: Click on Next Button
  
  5: Choose "Use a Browser on another machine with internet connectivity’ option
  
  6: Click on Next button
  
  7: Go to “https://sas.grapecity.com/deactivation” link on another machine
  
  8: Add the product key, deactivation key and related information on the site to deactivate the license.
