  Hi,

  Is there a way to have summary count for only specifc field values?

  Here’s what I’m trying to accomplish on Section Report:

  GroupHeader-Store
  
  GroupHeader-Product

  Detail-Records for Sales and Orders ordered by date

  GroupFooter-Product: Count of Sales, Count of Orders, Sum of Sales $, Sum of Orders $
  
  GroupFooter-Store: Count of Sales, Count of Orders, Sum of Sales $, Sum of Orders $
  
  
  
  I haven’t tried the other reports types would they be easier to create something like this?

  Hello Steven,

  You can generate a count of specific DataField values, in different groups as per your requirement. For this, set the following properties for a field in which you wish to obtain the count:
  
  DistinctField: Select the DataField on which the summary operation must occur
  
  SummaryFunc: “Count”
  
  SummaryGroup: Specific gorup header name
  
  SummaryRunning: “Group”
  
  SummaryType: “SubTotal”

  Refer the attached report bound to NWIND.mdb, for more clarity.
