  after moving a working windows forms app from a Windows Server 2008 R2 to a Windows server 2016 - I receive an error about CAS policy when trying to preview a report from within the reports designer. I tried following the suggestions in the forum, but after adding the required text to the app.config file - the app doesn’t start at all.

  Hello,

  I am assuming you are using the following setting in the app.config:
  
  <NetFx40_LegacySecurityPolicy enabled=“true”/>

  Could you please share the error message / stack trace so that we can narrow down the issue.
