I had never seen anything like this in my over 20 years of using Visual Studio. Please note the following observations.

I have on the machine version 13 of Active Reports installed. When attempting to compile with existing section reports, every instance of section report shows the following error:

“section_report.Dispose(bool): no suitable method found to override.”

Then when I open the file, all instances of “GrapeCity” are underlined with squiggly red lines as well as Dispose method (see screenshot attached).

Then about a second or so later, the error message disappears.

When I close the file, the error message comes back.

Please help. I am helping a developer set up with Active Reports. His machine is the only one with that issue. Mine works fine without a problem.

I’ve already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Active Reports. That has not fixed the issue.

    Hello,

Could you please try after changing the FW of the application to 4.6.2 or higher version. As AR13 only supports .Net FW 4.6.2 or higher.

    Thanks.
