Nested tables with different datasets not working!

  I have a simple RDL report with a nested table, the inner table has a different dataset to the outer, I have assigned the dataset the tables and doubled checked, but the inner table refuses to use the second dataset instead tries to use the outer tables instead.
  
  When debugging the second dataset is never requested!
  
  But if I move the nested table out to be a second primary table if you like then the second dataset is fired and data is displayed.
  
  Any ideas?

  Hi,

  In order to create Nested Table with different Datasets, you need to use Filters or Parameters to pass the Data from outer table to inner Table.

  Information on how to add filters or Parameters in Nested Table is provided in the below link:

  Thanks for the response I have tried using filters as I use object provider for the datasets, the result is the same.

  I will have a look at your example and see if there are any differences in setup.

  The only difference between your example and my code I can see is that my datasource is an “Object Provider”

  I have created the sample for you with the “Object Provider”. Please refer to the attached sample.

  If the problem still occurs them, Could you please either modify the attached application or provide your own stripped down project so that I can try reproducing the same behavior at my end and assist you further accordingly?
