Upgrading 19.0.0 -> 19.1

  I have 19.0.0 and it’s a bit of work to upgrade with all of the NuGet packages, etc… Is 19.1 recommended for significant bug fixes in addition to enhanced functionality or if don’t need the new functionality I’m OK on 19.0.0 for a bit?

  Hi Michael,

  Yes, if you don’t need the new functionality/bug fixes, you are good with using v19.0.0. However, please note that going forward with newer versions of ActiveReports, i.e., v20-21, these functionalities/bug fixes are going to persist, so you may need to do that bit of work to upgrade at some point in time if not possible at the moment.

  Understood. There’s a certain level of effort required to update versions so I prefer to do it as functionality is needed and/or there are significant bug fixes. Thank you.

  Sure, it’s totally your decision if you’d like to stick with v19.0.0 or upgrade to v19.1 in case any of your previously reported bugs have been fixed.

  If you face any issue(s) upgrading to a later version, please feel free to create a new case for the same, and we’ll be happy to help!
