    [activereports_archive]Hi,

We are using active report 7 version 7.3.7973.0. We are using Fixed page report. We are Rendering the active report document into RDF/PDF format.

now we want to insert the watermark say “void void void” in the pdf/RDF pages. Is there any way we can do this ?

    regards

    [activereports_archive]Hello Sharad,

Please note that directly adding WaterMarks in Page Reports is not supported. However, you can use the following workarounds in order to implement Watermark in FPL report :

    1. You can choose BackgroundImage for every page on FPL. For this, Select the page and in Properties section, Set BackgroundImage Property to the watermark.

    2. Alternatively, you can place an Image Control in the report and assign the watermark to this image. Right click on the image control and select the ‘Send to Back’ option in order that this image appears behind the data being printed on page.

Also, you can use Advanced Printing Options in order to add watermark to report using the viewer :

    http://helpcentral.componentone.com/nethelp/AR7Help/OnlineEn/UseAdvancedPrintingOptions.html

Attached is a sample for your reference which implements both type of methods on two different pages. Please go through it and revert in case of any confusion.

Please note that this reports uses Movie table of Reels.mdb database. By default, in ActiveReports, the Reels.mdb file is located in the [User Documents folder]\ComponentOne Samples\ActiveReports 7\Data folder.

    Regards,
