Conditional Formatting is lost when pagination is turned on

By turning on Debug Mode (TemplateOptions.Debug = true) and exporting to excel I can see that the Sheet1 correctly applies the conditional formatting, whereas, Sheet1_Page1 and thereafter do not apply conditional formatting. Turning off Pagination (TemplateOptions.PaginationMode = false) correctly applies the conditional formatting to Sheet1_Template and Sheet1.

    version: 7.2.0

I need pagination and conditional formatting please.

    Hi,

Apologize for the inconvenience. Conditional Formatting is not supported in the workbook generated using a Paginated template. Please refer here for the same: https://developer.mescius.com/document-solutions/dot-net-excel-api/docs/online/paginated-templates.html#:~:text=DsExcel%20does%20not%20support%20formula%2C%20conditional%20formatting%2C%20data%20validation%2C%20tables%2C%20charts%20in%20the%20workbook%20generated%20using%20paginated%20templates.

This is a limitation right now. However, this is under investigation. Our development team is working on this requirement. There is no fixed ETA. We will let you know once it is achievable.[Internal Tracking Id - DOCXLS-8830]

    Hi,

According to the development team, this feature is not yet supported in DsExcel. However, the team has included it in the release plans for v8.2. We will update you as soon as there are any further updates.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Best Regards,

    Hi,

Apologies for the delay in response.

Could you please share a sample file which elaborates what needs to be preserved in the output of the template processing - the conditional formatting after pagination or the styles applied by conditional formatting?

This information is required because some conditional formatting rules depends on the range of the values that will split in the pagination mode and the conditional formatting applied may result into incorrect rendering of the formats on the paginated sheets.

    Best Regards,

    Kartik

As I mentioned, I need Conditional Formatting to work when pagination is turned on. Mainly simple things like Font Bold (nothing that would affect the calculation on page size). I have attached a doc showing my use case along with my template file. ConditionalFormattingPagination.zip
