  Hello, what would be the best way to calculate a custom async function only manually by the button? I have several functions but this specific one needs to update only when I want without being automatic

  spreadjs 18.0.7 in angular 16.

  Hi,

  It is possible to calculate a custom async function only manually by a button by setting the evaluateMode to calculateonce and rebuilding the formula in the required cell on button click. Please refer to the below code snippet that illustrates the same:

  calculate() {
      const sheet = spread.getActiveSheet();
      spread.calculate(GC.Spread.Sheets.CalculationType.rebuild, cellAddress);
  }

  You can further refer to the attached sample that uses the above code snippet and manually recalculate the formula in the required cell (see below).
