  Steps to produce
  
  Created a table with branded row or some formatting applied like background color etc
  
  Paste in Confluence “comment” or Jira Comment or Confluence edit mode or the Gmail create email.

  Repeat the same steps with google sheets.

  The background foreground color and other formatting is not preserved , but when I paste the same data in google sheet it has the formatting preserved.

  Hi,

  If the requirement involves copying or pasting content from Excel to SpreadJS or vice-versa, we aim to preserve both the values and formatting, as rich text in the clipboard follows a defined structure with clear rules for representing cells, values, styles, etc.

  However, for content coming from other applications, SpreadJS reads the data directly from the system clipboard. As a result, copying and pasting from other applications is currently not supported.
