FlexGrid does not keep cell blank after deleting content

  In my app am using a FlexGrid with quick editing so that it works somewhat like Excel. I find that once a cell has a value, it is impossible to delete the value.

  An example:

  • Open the “Excel-Style Quick-Editing” Wijmo demo.
  • Edit any cell in the Id, Downloads, Sales or Expenses columns.
  • Delete the content. It seems to be gone.
  • Finish editing with ENTER, TAB or clicking elsewhere. The value is back.

  Funny though is that the Country column in the example works as expected – deleted content stays blank after editing.

  Am I missing something obvious?

  Found the answer! I needed to set isRequired: false for columns that allow blank values
