I have a Flexsheet filter on a column which contains merged cells. When I open up the filter some of the entries are missing. This seems to be intermittent and only seems to occur after applying a filter on a different column. It can be fairly easily reproduced using https://www.grapecity.com/wijmo/demos/Grid/FlexSheet/CellMerging/purejs

    1. In column “A”, create some merged groups
    2. In any other column, select the filter icon and filter out several rows
    3. Select the filter icon for column “A”. The filter will now often not show all of the valid entries that exist and are still visible in column “A”.

    Hi Chris,

We are sorry but we were not able to replicate the issue at our end. Please refer to the attached screenshot. Could you please tell us whether we are missing something in order to replicate the issue? You could also provide us with a sample that replicates the issue.

    Regards,

    hi Ashwin,

Sorry that you could not repeat it. Here is a more specific example. If you still can’t repeat then I will send a recording:

    For column A select 1 to 5 - Merge

    For column A select 6 to 10 - Merge

    For column A select 11 to 15 - Merge

    For column A select 16 to 19 - Merge

So you have 4 merged groups in column A

    Click filter for column C

Uncheck top three 2,3,4 and apply filter. The “0” group in column A still has entries so is correctly shown in the grid

Now press filter for column A. There is no 0 entry.

    Thanks

    Chris

I moved the filter to the side a bit so you can see the data underneath

    hi Ashwin

Actually, having played with it a little more, I know the specific reason. When the first element of a merged group is removed via another unrelated filter then it does not show.

    Thanks

    Chris
