OLAP: Filter function in PivotPanel is not easy to use

PivotPanel is fantastic, however we get some feedback from our customers. There might be something you could consider to improve UX:

    1. We would like to be able to display the filter conditions in the Pivot control box

    2. The Filter operation in the standard Wijmo pivot does not provide a great user experience. There are too many clicks required to activate, the filter is not shown, and when the filter is removed from the Filters box, the column originally used retains a filter icon which incorrectly indicates a filter has been applied. Ideally when adding a column to the filter box a dropdown (Wijmo Filter by Value) is provided in the pivot table space offering a dropdown of filter values when selected offers a wider range of filter options (Wijmo Filter by Condition)

We’d really appreciate your help to consider the above.

    Hello,

    Filter icon is retained

Wijmo OLAP is based on MS-Excel, therefore most of the functionality is based on excel. The filter icon is retained in the excel as it shows that filter is applied to that field, but it does not affect the data in the grid when it is not being used.

Too many clicks required to filter

In MS-Excel, every field has an option button located to the right of the field in panel which can be used to directly apply the filter.

Please confirm if you are looking for the same UX behavior so that we may forward this request to the concerned team?

    Display filter conditions

The excel also does not display the filter conditions. So, could you let us know how you would like to display the filter conditions in the panel or PivotGrid?
