    Hi

    AllowPinning is one handy feature.

However, if the user unpins one column, this one remains at the cuurent position.

I don’t not see any event linked with Pinning nor properties that allow you to check the pinning status

So, how do I restore one unpinned column back to his original position ?

    thanks

    Hello Philippe,

There is no direct way to keep the achieve the desired behavior.

As a workaround, you can store the original index in the UserData property of the column and handle the mouse events to move the columns at their desired position.

Thanks. I will try your suggestion.

Do you know if there a plans to add properties / events in a future reelase ?

I checked “AllowPinning”, too, and consider the mode “SingleColumn” quite useless, because it does not restore the original column location after unpinning.

With “ColumnRange”, the behavior is OK for me, as the column order is not changed.

Maybe you could check whether “SingleColumn” could be modified to restore the old order on unpinning?

    Best regards

    Wolfgang

    Hello Philippe,

We have raised your concern to the developers to add the feature for this in the API.
