  Hi C1,

  I’m trying to migrate a report that contains a barcode from the old report designer app but when I open the xml in the new designer app I got a message “Barcode cannot be drawn within specified bouds” (see image link), is there any way to migrate to flex report with affect the current height of the field?

  Hello,

  Please note that this error generally occurs when barcode fields with zero height or width are being used.
  
  For the field containing the barcode, please set the CanGrow and CanShrink property to True along with setting some Width and Height. Now, preview your report.

  Hi Esha, thanks for your help, I was able to fix the problem. But now when I read the barcode it is generating a random character at the end of the string. Not sure how to fix that.

  Hello,

  If you are not using barcode with check sums, you can set the CheckSumEnabled property to FALSE. This should help you avoid getting additional bytes encoded in your field.
  
  If the issue persists, kindly share a demo report showing the issue and I would look into the same in order to assist you further.
