    Dear All,

The following issue started after some CO update. I could binde a query in a Flexreport. Unlikely since some weeks not. ODBC Error no 42000. This tells: The report cannot binde the query because it is a querry. I do not understand what is going on. The odbc Connection is running well. I can also see all the list of the tables and the views. After the OK, the fechting data source Information is taking more than 20 minutes and at the end i got the error 42000.

Can you please explain what is goin on?

    Best regards

    It is me again,

After searching i found the following:

    ODBC = Ok

Liste of the tables and views = Ok

    Under Datasource1 = Error 42000

Liste of the fields to be used in the report = 0

    Attention:

Making no bind fields in the Report = ok

Use the ODBC Connection in the quelle Code and run the Report = Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah it works

Is this not amazing that i cannot see the field list under the Datasource1. It is always fetching …

The Database on the SQL-Server is in our plant China and not in Germany. We have a privat direct Line to our plant.

Normaly the ODBC is doing the Job for the Connection but the Flexreport i do not know what he is doing behind. I only can say Fetching…

    I cannot explain this phenomen.

    Best regards

    Hello,

We haven’t generally come across this error. However, are you able to smoothly use this data source on other applications i.e. the ones not containing C1 controls? Try using it with an access report and let us know the observations.

    Thanks,

    Esha

    Dear Esha,

Thanks for your reply. With Access report is working fine. The field list of the query can be displayed no problem even with Crystal Report.

In the C1Flexreport the Connection is no Problem but later i cannot see the query fields to be populate in the Report. As mentioned it says fetching and after 20 mn i get the Error mentioned 42000.

The Error 42000 must be known from the CO expert. C1Flexreport is giving it out.

    Waiting for your Feedback.

    Best regards
