  When I try to delete my .tt files and run the ComponentOne EF 6.x DbContext Generator I get an error saying "The preinstalled packages have a reference to a missing Registry value. Could not find a Registry key with name “EntityFrameworkVisualStudio14Tools” under 'SOFTWARE/NuGet/Repository.

  I am running the most current version of all modules and I have insured that I didn’t accidentally install anything from the WPF Folder.

  This is very difficult to provide a solution for an issue without replicating the same.
  
  Can you please share a small sample application with us for replicating the same issue? So that we can assist you further accordingly.

  I ended up going into the registry \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NuGet\Repository and making a new key called EntityFrameworkVisualStudio14Tools and set the data value to 1. The generator works perfectly now. I don’t understand how this isn’t easily solved by C1 and I wasted my entire weekend googling for an answer.

  Please note, this is related to MS Visual Studio not C1. We cannot add a registry key which is not related to ComponentOne controls/componets.

  Ya, I understand that. I’m just wondering if this has been happening to other users or it’s just my luck. It should be added to documentation in case it starts happening to other people.
