Please take the sample attached to my support case https://developer.mescius.com/my-account/my-support/case/9c730ae6-8d21-ef11-840b-002248290598 and run it with .700 and .708.
With version .708, the preview is clipped to the right, and the Page Setup dialog shows paper size “Letter”. With version .700, the report is rendered completely, and PageSetup shows “A4”:
The report xml file defines a custom paper size:
This paper size should match A4. I don’t know it was done this way, the report is really ancient.
The workaround might be easy, as it seems to help to set the paper size to “A4” in report designer instead of setting it to “Custom” and instead setting the paper sizes. But I want to avoid the work to go through all of our about 100 report templates.
Any maybe we really have reports with special paper format - here it might be critical if they revert to “Letter” and don’t handle the custom paper size correctly.
Could you check with the developers whether this is a regression or expected behavior?
