We are using C1.C1Report.C1Report Control Version 4.0.20173.282.
Please find attached report and a text file which is generated with option RenderToFile, rendering of the report is not proper due to the subreport.
it is working proper is previous version(4.6.20131.54624)

Thank you for the files. However, we need the data associated with your report in order to render it at our end and replicate the issue. We request you to share the dummy database so that we can assist you further. Also, we hope that you are using WinForms project for the same. Please inform if this is not the case.

PFA Sample
Pl. add any valid sql connection string to run this sample. Preview Test Report and Export to Text File do not select ‘Use Old version of text filter’ will generate the above-said problem.
We are using WinForms Project and to render Report in Text File using ‘objC1Report.RenderToStream(ms, FileFormatEnum.Text)’Test Report.zip

Hello,
We used “Test Report.xml” to bind it to a simple SQL database such that the report is rendered as:
The resultant file from RenderToStream with the two versions (13v1 and 17v3 builds) are attached in “testfile.zip”. Please refer the same and inform us about the kind of rendering issue you are referring to. This will help us assist you in the correct manner.

Hi Esha,
In 13V1 file 101 and 1 is in the same line whereas 17V3 file 1 and 101 are in separate line.

As C1Report is in maintenance mode (https://www.grapecity.com/en/forums/winforms-edition/c1report-in-maintenance-mo_1), we are discussing with the concerned team if anything can be done to avoid this kind of rendering. We will let you know once we hear from them.

As per the team,
C1Report’s TextFilter was significantly changed. To use old version, set C1Report.CompatibilityOptions.UseTextFilterClassic to True
