C1ReportDesigner V2 problem after updating from 2016/v2 to 2016/v3

    After updating from version 2016/v2 to 2016/v3 i get this message when i run C1ReportDesigner V2 and the designer quits loading.

    V4 Designer works fine.

    Hello,

    As per your given screenshot, we can see that you are using the 2021 V2 version.

    So could you please confirm which version you are willing to use as you mentioned 2016V3?

    I was using 2016/V2 and i run ComponentOneControlPanel_20212.1.9.exe and selected to upgrade to 2016/V3 which is the latest i can use with the license i have.

    It seems that you have installed the 2021V2 version by mistake. Please try doing the clean installation of C1 and let us know if the issue still exists.

    To do the clean installation of ComponentOne products on your system, perform the below-given steps:

    1: Uninstall the existing products (if any) using System’s ControlPanel/ ComponentOneControlPanel. Make sure that after the uninstallation, there is no folder named “ComponentOne” exists at the location: C:\Program Files (x86)

    2: Download the latest version of ComponentOneControlPanel utility from the given link:

    https://www.grapecity.com/componentone/download

    3: Select the edition, version, and framework of the controls that you want to install and hit the “Proceed” button.

    Note: If you want to install the product samples, you need to select the Product Samples checkbox before hitting the “Proceed” button.

    No, it was not a mistake by me, here is a screenshot of the c1 control panel that states that i am updated to 2016/v3

    After uninstall, will my license get erased ?

    I did the procedure described, i got 2021/v2 installation again!

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

    You can download the 2016 builds from the given link and replace the App folder of your system with the downloaded one.

    Thank you for your answer, but i also need the V2 installation files not only the V4.

    I also realized that my license key is valid until 2017/V3, so it would be nice if you direct me to download this version (for .net 2 & 4). Thanks!

    I would request you to uninstall the installed version and try installing the 2017V3 version from the given installer:
