    Hi,

I’m taking my first baby steps with C1ThemeDesigner. But I can’t test it properly as every single value change takes more than a minute to be applied to the preview.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Hi,

We could not see the issue at our end. Kindly refer to the attached video showing the behavior at our end. Could you please share a GIF/video showing the issue and the properties you are setting in the C1ThemeDesigner so that we can investigate further and assist you accordingly?

    Hi,

I’ve attached a video showing that on my machine C1ThemeDesigner is constantly idle after every single action.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Stephan,

Could you please let us know your system specifications(CPU, RAM, Windows version), so that we can investigate the issue and escalate accordingly?

Also, we suggest you try to re-install the C1 Winforms edition in your system including the C1 Applications from the C1 Control Panel. Please let us know if the issue persists.

    Kind Regards,

    Kartik

    Hi Stephan,

I don’t observe this problem, either (Win 11, NVidia graphics card). I have installed the latest version 4.5.20221.548. You could try to update to this latest version, maybe there was a fix.

If this does not help: attach a Visual Studio debugger to the ThemeDesigner, break into debugger and take a look at the stack trace. Maybe it is always stuck in the same piece of code.

    Best regards

    Wolfgang

    Hi Kartik and Wolfgang,

Thanks very much for your support. Luckily I finally found the cause for my trouble by de-installing a software called AuthConductor which either monitors the built-in vein scanner of my notebook as well as provides some windows add-ons. Event though I can’t point the finger directly to said software snippet up to now everything works fine.

    Best regards,

    Stephan
