    Dear all,

I’m trying to export to a new excel-file.

I alwas get a message that some dlls can’t be initialized.

They should be available in the application directory or in the GAC

What does this mean, how can I fix that problem

    See screenshot.

    Best regards

    Stephan

I’m using VisualStudio 2015 Visualbasic and Component Studio Enterprise v2022.1,

    TruDBGrid-Version 4.5.2. (4.5.2021.3.532)

    Hi Stephan,

To use the ExportToExcel method of the C1TrueDBGrid, you need to add a reference to the C1.PrintDocument and C1.Win.PrintPreview DLLs in your project instead of the C1.C1Report and C1.Win.C1Report DLLs.

The error message shown is wrong. The error message should show C1.PrintDocument and C1.Win.PrintPreview DLLs instead. This issue is already reported and was fixed in version 4.5.20213.537. So, we suggest you use the latest version of C1 controls in your project.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Kartik,

thanks for your fast reply. It worked fine - as you described.

One more question, how can I update the C1 controls up to 4.5.2013.537.

Any longer time ago, I could use the “C1Live”- tool for those updates. But this tool (2.1.20173.5227) is not working. Is there an newer version of that tool, if so, where can I download ?

    Best regards

    Stephan
