    Dear everybody,

In a C1TrueDBGrid I hid many columns, because I don’t need them in the excel file (you can see in the attached picture).

    The Excel export starts with:

    C1TrueDBGrid1.SaveExcel(strExcelFile, False, False)

In the created Excelsheet I do have some strange Entries an I hope you can help me:

Why are there hashmarks in front of the values (those are Double values).

Why are there the hidden columns?

I hope you can help me.

    Best regards

    Stephan

    Hi Stephan,

We could see both the issue at our end. We have reported the issues to the development team and will let you know as soon as we have an update. In the meantime, as a workaround, you can use the C1Excel to open the excel file after the export and manually do some post-processing to remove the hidden columns and fix the Format for the Double DataType cells. Kindly refer to the attached sample showing the same.

    Kind Regards,

    Kartik

    Hi Stephan,

This issue has been fixed in the latest 2022v3 (584) release. You can either update to the latest version using the ComponentOne Control Panel OR directly install the latest C1 packages through NuGet. Links for both are given below.
