Cannot open design view after moving project to new PC

  I am trying to evaluate the product before I charge my client for the licence but can not longer continue the job.

  I just replaced my PC. After I moved the project to the new PC, I can no longer open the design view for the main form.

  See the attached screenshot below.

  Few comments:

  • the project opens fine on the old PC,
  • other project forms open fine in design view on the new PC, including ones the ComponentOnes controls,
  • I only had the ComponentOnes controls on the old PC maybe for a week or so, it’s doubtful this is to do with any expiration of trial etc.,
    
    , I even run LicxGenerator on the licence file as a desperate attempt to continue working on this project

  What went wrong?

  UPDATE: I fixed this. Here is how in case someone else has same issue:

  1. I installed NuGet for EmptyLicensesLicx ( it will make sure there’s an empty Licenses.licx in your project, before it gets compiled)
  2. I deleted all C1 controls references
  3. I manually added back C1 control references.
