  Hello, all
  
  We are upgrading from activeX to Winforms version of flexGrid.
  
  What is the equivalent of the activeX “comment” cell property in the winForms edition? We are using the Flexgrid classic control

  Hi,

  We did not find any Comment property related to a Cell in ActiveX VSFlexGrid. Could you please elaborate on what kind of behavior do you want, so that we can assist you accordingly?

  honestly, I wish I knew.
  
  All I have is the code, without much documentation.
  
  I guess, I will have to comment it out and if QA starts screaming, then I will know what it was for…

  I found out what was meant.
  
  It is the same function as inserting a comment in an Excel grid.
  
  Does winform flexgrid have similar functionality?

  Hi,

  There is no direct way of implementing Cell comments in the C1FlexGrid. You can refer to the product sample CellNotes at location \Documents\ComponentOne Samples\WinForms\v4.5.2\FlexGrid\CS\ in your system which uses a Custom form to display notes when hovered over the cell. It allows to create, edit and delete notes for cells using a CellNoteManager and can be used as cell comments. Please let us know if you need any other information.
