  I am suddenly getting this error when I compile, I haven’t touched Compnent One, a clean, a reboot doesn’t seem to make this go away.

  The error is reported as being in the License.LICX file (which hasn’t changed in 20 months) Help!!!

  Hello Daniel,

  This error generally occurs when the license entries are incorrect or the valid key is not activated.

  Please try the following steps and let us know if the issue gets resolved:

  1: Remove the existing references and re-add the latest one.
  
  2: Delete the licenses.licx file and generate the new one using LicxGenerator.

  If you still face the issue then please let us know the following:

  1: Are you facing the same issue while creating a new project?
  
  2: Please share the screenshot of your activated key? Just show the first four digits and hide the other digits.
