    Hi

I’m migrating from C1Report to Flexreport and I have the following situation:

I have a main report that has dynamically added sub-reports. One of my sub-report has a really long text (3 pages longs approximately). While C1Report renders this sub-report breaking in different pages(correct), FlexReport renders this subreport in a single page and doesn’t break the information, therefore missing information.

I’ll attach the zip with the report and a pdf file (C1Report_Original_Long_RTF.pdf = the desired layout/old version)

Previewing the main report or the sub-report gives the same result.

    MAIN (0 - Laudos)

    SUB (2 - queb_00004||787027||CRM-SP-51423||CORT^CORT_ped_787027 )

    Can someone help ?

I know that your team is already working on it, but I’d like to point out that besides the missing pages, the performance drastically decreased.

I’ve measured around 5 seconds to print using the C1Report and it’s taking around 30 seconds using C1FlexReport (It’s the exact same report).

    Thanks for the information.

We will forward this additional information to the developers and will let you once we get any update on this from their end.

Sorry to bother again, however this issue keeps appearing.

Because I’m not sure if it’s the same problem, I’m adding another comment. I think this is not limited to long texts, but to images as well.

The C1Report version grows and pushes the image to the next page, while FlexReport is cutting in half the image at the bottom of the page.

I’ll attach the report file and C1Report_Image.pdf file.

    Image_displaced.zip

One more thing, given that we also work under a schedule, I was asked to check if you have a more specific ETA ?

    Hello,

    >>I think this is not limited to long texts, but to images as well.

Sorry, but we can not replicate the issue at our end when binding the report with your given file we didn’t see the output as shown in your attached PDF. Please see the attached GIF for reference and let us know if we are missing anything.

    >>One more thing, given that we also work under a schedule, I was asked to check if you have a more specific ETA?

We are getting in touch with the developers and ask them to keep this issue in priority. We will let you know once we get any ETA from them.

    Regards,

    Prabhat

    Hi

I’ve created a new report with bigger images to try replicate the issue. The files are quite big, so I had to upload here.

    https://easyupload.io/o8jqm1

Previewing “0 - Laudos” (Main report) cuts the image at the bottom of the page, but previewing “2 - queb_00001||788643||CRM-SP-51423||CORT^CORT_ped_788643” (Subreport) does not. Inside the zip file I also attached a GIF to show the case, plus the expected layout “C1Report_Image.pdf” and the FlexReportDesigner version I’m using (I don’t know if it’s relevant).

I think the cases are different(Text and Image), because no matter what I tried with the RTF text I couldn’t render all the pages, on the other hand previewing the sub-report at least it’s showing the whole image.

    Thanks.
