  I am using the grid in an unbound mode with 2 fixed rows where the first one is merged in order to create a caption to the grid(i have attached a picture).
  
  I am converting the flexgrid to use bound mode. Is there a way to have the first row in an unbound mode so i can create the caption line.

  Hi,

  Since the column caption of a bound grid is applied at the first row. You would first need to set C1FlexGrid.Rows.Fixed = 2, copy the captions to the second fixed row, then apply styling to center the caption of first fixed row, and set caption text.

  You can refer to the attached sample to see how it can be done.
