Is it possible to change the column which the header label for groups displays? It currently only displays for the column “Name” which I have hidden. So I get the yellow bar with no label specifying what the tasks are grouped by.

Hello Jay,
It is not possible in C1GanttView. Group Header is always displayed according to the grouped column.

In my case the grouped column is called PhaseNumber which is a customfield/custom column. The grouping works as it should and the group header is displayed correctly as PhaseNumber. The issue is the header shows in the “Name” column and I can’t move it to another column which should be a customfield/column for my chart. See image for example. You can see no header label is shown but the row is. The “Name” column is currently hidden as I didn’t want to show it. If I must show it I can, but for the view I’m showing in this display the name is not relevant.

We’ve requested the developers to consider this as an enhancement request [Internal Tracking ID: 363092]. We’ll let you know if it is feasible to add this in a future release.

Hello,
The location of group header can be customised by setting the GroupColumn property of GanttView. This property is available with the latest 2019V1 hotfix builds. You can use C1Live to upgrade to the same or download the builds from here:
