  Hello folks,
  
  is there any way to get RTF-Text from C1Editor without using saveRtf(filename) and writing the text to a file?

  Hi Neils,

  Sorry, there is no way to save the RTF-Text from C1Editor without using SaveRtf method.
  
  Is there any specific scenario that you are not using SaveRtf method?

  thank you for your answer.
  
  I like to use C1Editor as a formated textinput field. After userinput i need to save the RTF-Text into a dataset for save this into a database. After loading a database record i like to show the rtf-text into the C1Editor.

  Ok - i can save rtf to file and reload this into the dataset and after changing the record i save the database content to file and read this with C1Editor not so nice.

  Ok - instead of saving rtf, i can work with the xml-content of C1Editor. Because i like to send the data to a report-generator (like flexreport) i need the rft-text into a record field

  Is the any solution to this?

  Hi Niels,

  As per the developers, it is a limitation of the product to get the RTF text directly.
