  I installed the 2021v2 update and it messed up a whole bunch of references in my project. My project is a Winforms VB project but for some reason (see screen shot) when it updated my project references with the new C1 version numbers it replaced a bunch of my Winforms component references with references to the ASP.Net versions and WPF versions. I’ve noticed this before in prior upgrades but never remembered to report it. It is quite frustrating to have to go through all of my projects and manually correct dozens of references.

  Hello,

  I understand that this is frustrating and time-consuming task. I am sorry it is by design as VisualStudio takes the references from the folder sequence-wise; that is why the Asp.Net and WPF common references are added to the project. And it needs to be removed or changed manually if not required.
  
  In case you are facing any issues after this, please provide some more details.
