    Hi all,

we use the WINForms edition of the Component one studio in one project. More specifically the charts (1d and 3d) and the outbar (C1.Win.Command).

After updating the version to 4.0.20183.338 we get after the program again and again the message that C1.win.Command is not licensed.

We’ve already deleted all licx files, added the references, added new forms and added the controls, rebuilt the project. Everything uninstalled and reinstalled. All without success and we do not know any further.

We also try the LicenceGenerator (Crashes) and the Projekt update tool (doens’t help)

Strangely, everything works on the charts. Do you have an idea what the problem could be?

When we create a new project from the scratch and use ude outbar we didn’t get the message and everything works as expected.

    Regards

    Holger

    Hi Holger!

Since this problem is specific to your updated application, I need to see your licenses.licx file of the app. So, please share the licenses.licx file with me.

Also, let me know about all the C1 controls (other than chart and outbar) that you are using in your project.

Please make sure, entries corresponding to C1 controls created at run-time are also added to licenses.licx file.

    Regards,

    Meenakshi

    Hi Meenakshi,

here, as requested, the licences.licx file. We use C1.Win.C1Chart.4 and C1.Win.C1Chart3D and the C1.Win.C1Command, nothing more. But I will cross check it.

    Regards

    Holger

    Hi Holger!

The shared licenses.licx file seems fine for C1OutBar control. In your project, there might be another C1 control referencing C1.Win.Command.4.dll, for which the entry is missing in licenses.licx file.

Please check and let me know about the other C1 controls (at design-time as well as run-time) in your app, so that I can guide you in the right direction.

You can also share your sample with me so that I can see the issue at my end too, and assist you accordingly.

    Regards,

    Meenakshi

    Hi Meenakshi,

sorry for the late reply. I checked all the projects of my solution and found a tun-time added context-Menu. It was added in the part a co-worker did.

I add the context menu on a form and rebuild the project and the pop-up is gone.

Thanks for the hints and your help. Maybe it is possible to add the name of the control in the popup. This will help to save a lot of time…

    Regards

    Holger
