Hello,
As per the image the layout that you want to achieve can’t be implemented by a single control, it might need two GanttViews to achieve this.
You can show the resource chart as shown in the attachment “Img_GroupByResources.zip”.
As its workaround, you can setup grouping by resources in GanttView as described here :
https://www.grapecity.com/componentone/docs/win/online-ganttview/TaskGroup.html
https://www.grapecity.com/componentone/docs/win/online-ganttview/GroupBehavior.html
https://www.grapecity.com/en/blogs/ganttview-a-complete-project-management-tool
Then, you need to set ReflectOnGroup property for individual tasks to true. In this case individual tasks will be reflected over the Resource row.The only problem here is that editing tasks is not possible directly in group row.
If you want we can create a sample for you by hiding that expansion sign and Resource string in the group row.The bottom portion of your attached image was not clear to us so can you please elaborate it with an example that what you want to achieve in that.

Prabhat Sharma.

Hello,
First, thank you very much for your answer.
I am interested in an example of your proposal.
My need is rather to show the number of hours or the percentage of use per resource (or per a group of resource). For example, if a task is assigned to “Fred” for 3 days and another task to “Fred” for 5 days with common days, then the graph shows a use of “Fred” at 100% for 2 days and at 200% for 3 days.
The display of the capacity would be a huge function of the control.
Regards,

Hello,
As per you given screenshot we can say that the bottom portion is similar to some other control like FlexChart.
Currently it not possible to show “Resource Usage in GanttView” so we are requesting for a enhancement to show “Resource Usage” in GanttView, will let you know once we get any updates on this from the developers.

Thank you for the answer. I think a lot of GrapeCity users will appreciate the evolution. Many people are looking for this type of control. Do not hesitate to contact me if you want more information on the need (or tests).Regards,
