  See attached sample with two C1DateEdit, one in “ShortDate” format, the other in “ShortTime”.

  In the sample, the initially focused control is a textbox.
  
  Now click on the “spin up” button of both C1DateEdit.

  The “ShortDate” picker works as expected: the date part is focused and spins:
  
  

  But the “ShortTime” picker flickers and does not change at all.
  
  

  It works if the picker is focused first.

  Note that we use a custom format “HH:mm” in our pickers, so please don’t fix this issue only for “ShortTime”

  Hi Wolfgang,

  Thank you for providing the sample project. We could see the behavior you mentioned on our end and it seems like a bug. We have reported the issue to the development team for further investigation and will update you as soon as possible.

  In the meantime, please set the InitialField property of the C1DateEdit to Hour to resolve this issue. We have attached the updated sample project for reference.

  You also don’t have to worry about resolving this issue for your custom format. In the bug report, we also informed the development team of this.

  I can confirm that this was fixed in .631.

  The release notes point to a different JIRA ticket:

  [DateEdit][NET6] No field was not selected if spin button was pressed when using time-only formats. (Jira:C1WIN-30629)
