  See attached sample: try to reset the datatype of column 1 to “Object”. This is not possible, it jumps back to the current value “Boolean”:

  Same for the width: it you have set a width before, you cannot reset it to “-1” by designer.

  It seems this was fixed in .611 - maybe by https://www.grapecity.com/forums/winforms-edition/flexgrid-column-designer-in-588-invisible-columns-and-default-values ?
  
  Could you confirm this? I cannot reproduce the issue with .611.
