  Dim Bk as new C1.Excel.X1XLBook

  causes a System.NullReferenceException when executing a project within the VS IDE (vb.net)

  Troubleshooting

  • It is not limited to a specific project
  • dependency of ds.Documents.Imaging is met (including checking any binding redirects)
  • if I log in as another user it works fine
  • If I compile to an exe and run the exe it works fine
  • I’ve repaired the C1 Winforms installation
  • deleted appdata\local\temp and appdata\local\Nuget\v3_cache

  I have posted a ticket CAS-60016-H2F6R5 but nothing yet resolved.

  Looking for suggestions on what could be user-specific on a computer that would cause this issues and possibly how to resolve. Thanks in advance.
