Used C1TrueDBGrid:- Version=4.0.20183.338 in my application, if I open a WinForm containing C1TrueDBGrid then show form Unsaved. In our running program, 1st start C1TrueDBGrid adds or update value no problem, add/ update success. In 2nd time C1TrueDBGrid OnAddNew mode not running. Then delete 1st row then OnAddNew activate. What is my problem? How to solve this?

    Hi,

The first issue is a known bug [Internal Tracking ID: 382525]. We’ll update this thread once a fix for this is available.

I could not observe the second issue. Can you please attach your sample or modify the attached sample so we can observe the same at our end?

    AddNewMode.zip

    Thanks,

    Jitender

Start entry when last column press save, then start new entry grid last column pressed but it stacked, if I delete this and start entry then not stacked. Another issue, what is the procedure to reactive component one when machine window reinstalled?

    Hi,

I’m sorry, I could not understand the reproducing steps. Can you please make a GIF or a small video showing the steps so I can also replicate it?

If you want to activate ComponentOne on a fresh Windows installation, make sure that you have deactivated the license from your old installation. One license can be used on 2 machines. [See this page for more info: https://www.grapecity.com/licensing/componentone].

Once deactivated, you can activate C1 on your new installation with the same key.

    Regards,

The GIF file you’ve attached is a static image so I’m unable to see the steps you are taking. Can you please explain the steps you are taking? What do you mean by ‘stacked’? What’s ‘press save’? Are you referring to the ‘Save’ button, or just getting out of edit mode?

Probably my person has not been able to explain you the problem we are facing which have started only since few week, however it was working fine since so many years.

Please refer the Grid attached where the last active column has been circled and the grid is working under auto update mode. The columns after the circled one are only display columns and are not active in the grid.

The problem we are facing is

When the form is loaded and a record is being added the row in the grid gets added automatically after the last circled column has been edited but after saving the the record during addition on next record the row fails to get added automatically after last column edit. When we delete this unfinished row, the problem gets solved.

What could be the sudden reason for this problem which we are using since so many years without any trouble

no codes written for any events of this last columns

IN OTHER WORDS NEW ROW IS FAILED TO GET ADDED FOR THE NEXT RECORDS AND THIS HAS STARTED IN ALL THE GRID BASED FORM WE ARE USING.

    Hi,

The fix for the issue where TrueDBGrid shows an unsaved icon on Form designer is available in the latest hotfix update (*.424 builds).

You can update your controls using ComponentOne Control Panel (https://www.grapecity.com/blogs/welcome-to-componentone-controlpanel).

    Jitender
