Ribbon issue with 120 DPI and OpenFileDialog when maximized

    Hello,

I’m having an issue where a C1Ribbon flickers and the title arear changes to transparent whenever a OpenFileDialog is opened and then closed from the ribbon application when maximized. The form is DPI aware running on Win10 1809 using a 120 DPI and the ribbon runtime version is v4.0.30319.

Everything scales good then the Open File command opens the file dialog which causes the form to flicker and the ribbon font to go a weird white/blue. If the Open File dialog is then canceled the top of the ribbon goes transparent.

Note the application must be maximized for this to occur, but there is still flickering even when not maximized, but it will fix itself if the same steps are repeated when the application is not maximized.

I attached a modified WordPad example that exhibits the behavior and three screen shots showing the ribbon issues.

    Thanks!Ribbon-Issue.zip

    Hello,

in our application problem exists too.

Actual used component of C1.Win.C1Ribbon.4 is 4.0.20183.338.

    DPI-setting ist standard (100 DPI).

Our default visual-style is “Office 2007 Black”.

I would add two screenshots of how the MDI-Window looks after opening and canceling an open- or save-dialog: Window-top gets transparent and control-box for closing, maximizing and so on disappears. Please see attachment named “Maximized.jpg”.

First I thought it’s a (re-)drawing-issue, so I give the advise to turn to normal window-state and than back to maximized. But that didn’t help. See also attachment named “Normal.jpg”.

Using newest drivers for Intel 4600 Graphics or Nvidia GeForce didn’t make any difference on this. Problem stays.

As said by mhamilton, problem is only on machines with Windows 10 (Build 1809).
