  Hello,
  
  is there some list of formatting features, which are supported for RTF format if you save document with SaveRTF command?

  I’m using your demo RichTextDemo from Control Panel. It uses 4.8.20241.672 versions of controls.
  
  As I saw, only the simplest of formatting options are ok - for example bold, italic - if I choose font color, or background color, alignment - those don’t work - it all saves as ordinary text with no formatting.

  Is this supposed to work and there is some error or it just isn’t supported?

  (Saving to html works, but we need rtf format and it is not working as advertised…)

  Hello,

  As per the development team, the colors are not supported in the current implementation of saving RTF files. For now, we do not have the ETA for the fix, but rest assured, we’ll update you once the issue is fixed.

  Hello,

  As per the team, C1Editor uses Microsoft RTF converter to export to RTF. However, MS RTF converter does not support some features:

  1. https://github.com/dotnet/winforms/issues/8902
  2. https://github.com/dotnet/winforms/issues/7842

  So, the following are the limitation in our control:

  • Text Color – custom font colors may not be preserved correctly in the saved RTF;
  • Text Highlight Color – highlighting (different from background color) is not supported in the exported RTF.
