    Hi,

I am getting an error while trying to add a CICombo control to my designer.

The error is very random and not sure what it causing it. The code complies successfully and while debugging the combo code also is fine but on hitting F5 it fails with the following error. (please see screen shot attached. )

    We are using Version=4.0.20161.139

    Hello!

Can you please try re-attach the error image once again? It is missing from your post.

As you have mentioned, you are getting error on adding C1Combo to form at design-time as well as on pressing F5 while debugging. Are the two errors same? If not, I request you to share details for both.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi

    Nithya!

Though, I can not comment on this random occurrence of error. Can you please try debugging with ‘Just My Code’ turned off (Tools → Options → Debugging → General → Uncheck ‘Enable Just My Code’), and see if the issue still persists?

In case you are still facing this issue, is it possible for you to create a small application replicating this issue?

    Best regards,

    Meenakshi
