I have installed the trail version of the Win form control and I am using Visual Studio v 2019. For example, the latest grid I have is C1FlecGridClassic4.5.2 and it is ticked but it does not show in the VS toolbox, nor do any of the other controls.

    Hi,

This seems very odd, try following the steps in the attached PDF to rebuild the toolbox and let me know if that fixes the issue.

If the above solution does not work then try doing a “repair install” from the ComponentOne control panel. It could be possible that something got messed up during the installation process. After repairing, you may have to rebuild the toolbox in the same way you did previously.

Please follow the steps to do the clean installation of the ComponentOne

1: Uninstall the already installed ComponentOne using System’s ControlPanel if any. Please make sure that after the uninstallation there is no folder named “ComponentOne”, exists on the given location: C:\Program Files (x86)

2: Download the latest version of ComponentOneControlPanel utility from the given link:

    https://www.grapecity.com/componentone/download

3: Select the edition, version, and framework of the controls that you want to install and hit the “Proceed” button.

Note: If you want to install the product samples then you need to Select the Product Samples checkbox before hitting the “Proceed” button.

    Regards,

    Prabhat Sharma.

    C1LiveUI.2.exe shows version 4.0.20212.513

I ran the Control Panel and repaired the demo 2021v2(513) WinForms and WPF edition.

    C1LiveUI.2.exe shows no difference.

I deleted the toolbox from the VS directory. No change.

I opened a 2010 project in 2019 and all the controls showed in the tool box.

    Hello,

It is good to hear that the controls are showing in your toolbox. If you still face any issues then please let us know.

    Regards,

    Prabhat Sharma.

The control showing are the controls for the 2010 Visual Studio (VS) opened in 2019 VS. The trial controls do not show, nor do the 2010 Component One controls show in a new project in 2019 VS.

I have done everything as requested. I have repaired and the programs it reports all installed.

I have both deleted and reset tool box. When I try and add the controls they are not available for selection: the are not shown but the older controls do appear. The older controls are shown but the are reported as incompatable when selected. 2019 only shows Net 5.

    Hello,

    Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Can you please share a video/GIF showing the issue when you are creating a new project?

    >>The older controls are shown but they are reported as incompatible when selected. 2019 only shows Net 5.

Are you creating a new NET 5 new application? If yes then they will not appear in the toolbox by default, you need to add the respective Nuget package to show the controls in the Toolbox.

Note: If you still face the issue then we will ask the concerned team to arrange a remote session to resolve the issue at your end ASAP.

    Regards,

    Prabhat Sharma.

I am using 2019 VS with Net 5.

I have repaired Component One several times.

When I start VS 2019 the tool box does NOT show any Component One tools.

I click select and in the list the Net 5 tools DO NOT SHOW. The older tools do show but, of course, they cannot be added and I am not interested in using the older tools as I wish to progress to Net 5.

I have reset the tool box by pushing the reset option. No change.

I have deleted the toolbox in the VS directory. Upon start VS starts rebuilds the tool box. the Net 5 tools do not show.

    Hello,

As demonstrated in the last post you need to add the respective Nuget package to show the controls in the Toolbox for .NET 5.

Please see the attached GIF for reference.

I have installed the serial number and it is no longer requested. However, the controls do not show in the tool box. The images show the package in the project but the video showed a search and the control is not found but is it listed.
