    Hi,

    I use a t´TrueDBGRid ´, which includes a combox-column.

If I start my App in a m´normal way, everything works.

But my app will be started frpm another app and my form is included in the other app.

Then I have the problem you see in attachment.

I can select the list - but the list appears in the left upper corner of the grid.

Du you have an idea, what happens or a workaround?

    Thanks,

    Horst

    Hi Horst,

Thank you for sharing the image of the issue. I tried replicating it at my end by opening the TrueDbGrid application upon click of a button in main application. However combobox seems to be opening at correct position at my end.

    Please refer attached test application.

Could you please modify the application and also please share the ComponentOne version you are using.

    Thanks,

    Ruchir

    Hi,

Sorry I answer so late but I was on the way.

    I use TruedbGrid 4.0.20181.303

If I start my application standalone everything work.

Only If my applicatiion is startet from another app and the form ist place in a form of the foreign app this effect will happens.

This problem will happens only running under Windows 10.

    Under Windows 7 everything works.

Do you have some properties of the grid/column…, which I kann examine to see perhaps a difference between starten my app standalone or on the other way.

    Thanks Horst

I can not give you a small sample app, because the environment the problem happens is very large.

    Hi,

I can understand that it might not be feasible for you to share your application. But since we are not able to replicate the issue at our end in the same environment and same version as yours, could you please modify the application I shared earlier to demonstrate your implementation approach. This way we can at-least know where the problem might be occurring in your application.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I undestand, that you cannot replicate the issue without a example.

If I start my app directly - everything works.

If I the other App starts my app , I get the problems.

I want to find you where is the difference,

Do you have a tip, which properties of the grid or columns…Location…) should I compare.

    Thanks Horst

    Hello,

I am asking the developers about what can be the possible scenarios/reasons for the discrepancy of the application at our end {ID: 333013}. I will get back to you with the information I receive from them.

    Thanks,

    Hi Horst,

    1. Can you give me exact Windows 10 build No you face the problem in?
    2. How does the other app start your app exactly? Process.Start? Can you give us a code snippet?
    3. and my form is included in the other app

Can you give us idea what does this mean and how it’s possible?

    Thanks,
