We moved from the 2.0 to the 4.0 version of TrueDbGrid. We notice a slight change in behaviour of the CellTips. We now have to click in the grid to activate the CellTips. In the old version, hovering over the control always made the CellTips pop up, irrespective of the grid having focus.

Is this a know ‘bug’? Any suggestions for working around it?

I have thought of giving the grid focus on MouseEnter.

    Hello,

I can replicate the behavior with the 4.0 version control that hovering over the control does not leads to cellTips pop up if grid does not have focus.

When checking with 2.0 version controls I observe the same behavior, so kindly share the build version of your 2.0 version controls so that we can investigate this further.

For a time being you can use a tooltip control in the MouseMove event of TrueDBGrid to achieve the desired result.

Please refer to the attached sample demonstrating the same.

    Regards,

    Prabhat Sharma.
