Unable to change design of C1Flexgrid

  Hi,

  I have to make some changes to a C1Flexgrid (add/delete columns). However, there is no way I can access the designer. Right-clicking on the flexgrid doesnt show any option for the designer.

  This happens only when the reference is set to C1.Win.C1FlexGrid.4.

  When I change the reference back to C1.Win.C1FlexGrid.2, I am able to view the designer and get the work done. But, then I have to change the reference back to C1.Win.C1FlexGrid.4, in order to build the project.

  Since I have to use C1.Win.C1FlexGrid.4, is there any way to access the designer, without having to jump back and forth between the old and new versions?

  Hello,

  To resolve this issue, you just need to add “C1.Win.C1FlexGrid.4.Design.dll” file in your project reference and rebuild your project or you can save this file in the “Studio For Winforms\bin\v4\Designer” folder where the suite is installed in your system.

  Hi Arpit,

  I am also facing the same issue with my solution. Till few weeks ago, it was working fine and now suddenly it stopped showing designer of the grid. I have tried your solution but no result yet.

  I am using the version 4.6.20112.624 build.

  Please find the error screen shots of my solution.
