  Hi!
  
  I am about to upgrade Studio for WinForms. My current version is 4.0.20173.282.
  
  I am running the C1 Control Panel and got a little confused. It shows “Change Version” button. What will it do? Replace my current version with the lates one?
  
  I want to keep my existing version of C1 to be able to work on our legacy product versions.
  
  Will C1 run side-by-side versions?

  Hello Oleg,

  Yes, it will upgrade your Studio to the latest version.

  You want to make side-by-side installation of two different version of ‘ComponentOne Studio’ on same machine.
  
  Please note that it is not possible to install two different version of ‘C1Studio’ on same machine. Once, you run the installer, it updates all the ComponentOne DLLs to the latest version.

  Please note, installing the latest version will update all your C1 assemblies in the actual installation path. However, you can keep all the older assemblies in a separate folder on any location on your machine (for example, desktop) and then, use them in the references of your older project.

  This way you can utilize the latest version of C1 Studio for your new projects while, using the older assemblies in your existing projects.
